GRE Quant: Exam Guide, Format & Official Sources
The GRE General Test includes quantitative and verbal reasoning plus analytical writing. This workspace develops selected quantitative foundations and response formats. It does not issue an official or predicted scaled score.
Two quantitative sections
The published quantitative structure contains 12 questions in 21 minutes, followed by 15 questions in 26 minutes. Use official practice to experience the complete adaptive test.
- The practice sets here are untimed and fixed, not official adaptive simulations.
- A foundation lesson is not a substitute for the full GRE content outline.
Read the response instruction
Quant uses single-answer multiple choice, select-one-or-more choices, quantitative comparison and numeric entry. This pilot includes all four as learning formats.
- Comparison asks for a relationship that must hold under the stated conditions.
- Multiple-select requires the complete correct selection.
- A numeric answer may be represented by an equivalent exact fraction in this practice.
