ACT Math: Exam Guide, Format & Official Sources
This guide describes the enhanced ACT. Slope currently teaches selected Math foundations; the full ACT also includes English and Reading, with optional additions subject to the administration.
Know the current format
Enhanced Math uses 45 questions in 50 minutes, with four choices per question. The present practice bank is untimed and does not reproduce official scoring.
- Use current enhanced practice materials.
- A Math-only practice result is not a Composite score.
Choose tools deliberately
A calculator is permitted for Math, subject to the official model and feature policy. Some questions are quicker with algebra or estimation.
- Check the calculator policy through the official test-day page.
- Do not assume all phone or computer calculators are permitted.
